Some Sevens shenanigans
February 4th, 2007Ow my head. These sevens were a bit more subdued than last year, but it was still a great time. Now for some pix
That’s one happy Ra. On the first day we went as BBQ chefs, the aprons were great – Wiltshire Bar-b-mates, at $16 from the warehouse they were a good deal
On the second day, we went in bathrobes and slippers – I highly recommend this, and I believe from now on we’re going to be having bathrobe-only days. If you could go to work in a bathrobe, I think your productivity would increase considrably 
Finally, I met up with Chloe. After the Sevens she was brave enough to attend the flatwarming at the new improved Buick St Massive. You can expect more pictures of that occassion when I glean them from my mates.
I’ve noticed, on a sour note, that when I’m on the chop I get a little bloated – that double chin means business. Time to get back on the bike, which I’ve had to unfortunately neglect due to the danger of riding with a bung ear (not being able to hear other traffic, poor balance) and also play more touch…

Hey, my beer belly only makes you look better – not that you need the help!
My workmate reckons it’s just water retention, I’m inclined to agree – when I’ve been riding, I don’t get bloated. When I’ve been loafing about with a bung ear and drinking for 14 hours, I get bloated. Cause and effect is a bastard like that
I’m planning on going on a detox in March… no wait, there’s something on in March I think… better make it April. I wonder if anyone else would be keen to join in

yeah, there’s bound to be better ones taken by Geoff’s proper cam – I’m trying to get him to pull finger and release his pix, though he was saying something about the resolution of his pix being so high that his entire collection of the day goes into the gigabytes!
When I find a better one, I’ll replace that one, if I can’t get one in a couple of days I’ll photochop that one or something
Work today sucked, I was so tired that I fell asleep at my desk a couple of times, even after popping 200mg of caffeine :O Riding home was invigorating though, but bring on tomorrow’s sleep in!

What’s lame? The fact that I was sitting at work twiddling my thumbs and dozing off because it was a waste of a day, especially when I could have been out on a mystery mission with you, dressed up like a pirate no less!
